Known for its ingenious blend of traditional embroidery with contemporary silhouettes, Masumi has distinguished herself as one of the most coveted designers for the Indian crème de la crème.
Apart from its own Studio and website, the brand has a strong presence across India with its designs being displayed at top designer retail stores in several Tier I and Tier II cities across the country. The brand also has a robust presence in digital and print media.
About the Designer
Masumi Mewawalla the young and zealous designer is the brainchild of the brand. At the young age of 21, the dynamic entrepreneur recognised the gap in the Indian market for a festive and bridal clothing label that truly caters to the young modern tastes of the Indian elite.
With humble beginnings as a small workshop at the designer’s residence, today the company has a studio in Lower Parel, Mumbai. The label grew from strength to strength. The key differentiator for the label was its unique and fresh perspective on bridal and festive Indian wear and unparalleled authority on embroidery techniques. Having displayed her work at several exhibitions across India, the label’s designs garnered attention from several influencers in the fashion industry.
Masumi Mewawalla was announced as the youngest designer in India in 2014, as the collection was showcased at India Runway Week Delhi and Masumi was the youngest designer to represent India on a global platform at India Dubai Fashion Week where Masumi showcased The Fall 2016 collection called ‘Ethereal Rose’ The rose gold collection took the bridal wear industry by storm, generating valuable PR for the brand amongst the biggest names in international fashion.
In 2016, we were the first labels in India to introduce the use of rose gold in embroidery; steering away from norms in the bridal wear industry and introducing a vintage English touch.

The label employs the most skilled karigars at their in-house production unit, specialising in the most exquisite embroidery techniques from different parts of India; From opulent silks to delicate ruffled nets, rich fabrics are handpicked and brought to life with the most intricate handwork.
